Now, if the patents were written to cover the kinds of methodologies that their competitors use, great. But making a statement that your patents may not actually cover the version that works means you and your patent attorney need to have a better relationship. Because a patent that doesn’t prevent others from copying the methodology that actually works is a pretty worthless patent.
